Workout Outfits Inspired Today's Blog

So I think I'm going crazy. I saw a girl on Pinterest with long grey spandex on and a long white sleeve compression shirt (took me right to fall) doing side planks & jump squats, and immediately I thought, I want to do that! Could it be, could it be? I'm going to get my mojo back?! Oh I do hope so. Last Fall & Winter, I started turning into slackfest. And that's ok, you win some you lose some. But now that I've had a constant belly for 8 months now, I am really looking forward to the day I can look down and see a flat stomach and feel the hunger pain. Not the angry hungry pain I get right now. Don't even tell me that you don't LOVE it when you just kinda forgot to eat for a while, and had a killer workout for a few days and all of a sudden you feel hungry, and look in the mirrow mesmorized thinking "but if I eat, my stomach won't look or feel this good" But, you proceed to eat anyways. Ahhh a daydream. I think it's going to happen for me. The nice crisp air, a sunset or sunrise perhaps, me in some long spandex and compression shirt, killing it with squats and planks. Oh, yes, they will be done.
Right now, I'm happy I can still roll out of bed without assistance, but it's only going to get worse. Yes, I have 8 or 9 more weeks. YIPPEE. Light at the end of the tunnel. I am just really not looking forward to those midnight - 4 am feedings in the dark. Most depressing time of my day. Hopefully I will cherish 'most' moments realizing this could more than likely be the last child I will be doing feedings with. I remember with Madi, after week 2 of trying to stick to the advice of everyone saying, keep it dark and dim & blah blah blah, you better believe I turned on E! and watched tv with her- it kept my mind off of feeling so lousy. And, surprise- SHE'S STILL ALIVE TODAY, I did my job as #1 caregiver. Mom of the Year! High Five! Fist Pump! Whoo! Whooo! I do remember just staring at her the whole first night. Didn't sleep a wink, for real.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my enthusiasm for Fall Squats- So weird right?! I know it might be more realistic to say later winter/fall for feeling great with a workout, but for now, I won't put a date on it. Oh, and, guess what comes out in October- freaking MONOPOLY! Why do I know that? Because McDonald's like to play with you. They know that all summer you try to stay away from their irresistable french fries because it's bikini season, then come October - BOOM! Let's pass Go and Collect $200! Aye, Yay, Yay. So, I guess I'll be too busy collecting Railroads in October.......
