Heidi LaFleur and Daniel Hurrell were united in marriage on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at Holy Spirit Church in Menominee. Father Mark joined them in marriage in a beautiful afternoon ceremony. Gifts were presented by Kristen and Kara Hines and Ashley Shaver, longtime family friends of the bride. Matt LaFleur, brother of the bride, and Vanessa Vincent sang a duet to pianist Diane Niemann. On the eve of the wedding, a candlelight dinner was served outdoors at the LaPerriere home. The bride's Aunt, Uncle and Maid of Honor served their guests Rick's famous Louisiana Shrimp boil on luscious lime-green hand crafted table decor. A reception and celebration was held at Riverside Golf Club in Menominee, MI.
The bride is the daughter of Nick and Chris LaFleur of Menominee. Grandparents are Elroy and Shirley Bailey, Norma and the late Jerome LaFleur, all of Menominee. The groom is the son of Nora and Brad Coutour of Gwinn, MI and Kenneth and Stacey Hurrell of Marquette, MI. Grandparents are Kenneth Sr. and Emily Hurrell of Boston, MS and Robert and Jan Boogren of Gwinn, MI.
Heidi was given in marriage by her parents. Holly LaPerriere was chosen as Maid of Honor and Ryan Larson was chosen as Best Man. Bridesmaids were Cassie Hurrell, sister of the groom, Samantha Baker, Lorelei Sorenson, Nicole Dollar, all friends of the bride, MaryBeth Langin, cousin of the groom, and Lisa LaFleur, sister-in-law to the bride.
Groomsmen were Lincoln Marshall, Chris Welch, Bill Hemmila, Steven Jakubowski, Joe Melchoir, and Tyler Stansky, all long time friends of the groom. Madison Kovarik, niece of the groom and Mason Kovarik, nephew of the groom, graced the ceremony as Flower Girl and Ring Bearer.
Heidi is a 2005 graduate of Menominee High School and is currently employed at The Studio of Marquette, MI. Danny is a 2005 graduate of Gwinn High School and is currently employed at Argonics Corp. of Ishpeming, MI.
