So, with a few years of my parents having their house on the market, it sold in the middle of winter. So, we moved, twice, in the middle of winter, but that's not the point. What is the point, is that I'm missing some prime time gaming time.
Right now, I'm having my room redone, which means a few gallons of paint, some spray paint, repurposing, checking Pinterest regularly and not a whole lot of quality sleep while I'm sleeping in the middle of the living room.
But in between working on my room - where I don't have my computer hooked up yet - on days where I just can't lift a paint brush or go through another box, I've been playing with some apps. I've been on Netflix and Hulu+, watching some Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, as well as watching The Walking Dead on Sundays on AMC.
But as far as games go, I have only been playing a couple. One is Draw Something. Apparently I was a little slow getting to this one, but its still fun. and its great that my mom is playing it, too. And the other game is one that I've seen on both the Android Market and the App Store for awhile. It's called, Plague Inc.
Plague Inc. is a strategy-based game by Ndemic Creations. The basis of the game is that you're a bacteria - or fungus, virus, parasite, prion, well, you get the idea - and your job is to rid the world of the human race. So, you choose a place where you're let lose on the world, and depending on how good you are (number of people and countries infected) you can trade in DNA points to evolve your bacteria to raise the infectivity, severity and lethality, along with its transmission capabilities, symptoms and other abilities.
It's not as grim as it all sounds. Well, it might be. But if you have fun with it, like I have, you'll soon be cheering on the bacteria and getting angry at the silly human scientists developing the cure for, eh ... you.
I hope you have some fun with this game. But, if you hate it and you have a game that you just can't put down, let me know what that is, too. I always love checking out a new game. :)
I'll see you next time when I talk about how much fun I'm having with Yoda, Leia, Chewie and others on the Xbox 360 with Kinect.
