This is a sketch of what I look like while playing WoW. I'll do a better pic for next time, I promise. ^_^

There's nothing like that new game smell. When you take it out of its new plastic box, after spending at least 8 minutes (unless you're a total pro) taking off the plastic cover and stickers along the sides.

Who am I kidding? That's already obsolete! Majority of games and add ons are available for download online, without the extra fees that come with having a hard copy that you can hold on to (and the extra plastic).

But regardless how you get your game(s), whether its a download, or a hard copy by actually walking in a store or buying it online, there's nothing like a new game.

Okay, so I have to admit, I've been a little preoccupied with some gaming.

Guild Wars 2. Let me just say right off the bat, this game is gorgeous. It's one of those games where you can just explore and every new place you travel to is just as wonderful, but in an entirely different way. The characters are intense and highly customizable, and everyone has their own storyline. And I can be an engineer for a class. A gun totin', grenade throwin', turret buildin', pack wearin' engineer. How fun is that?! But... There is no end game, at this point. And I cared while I was leveling my engineer, but now I don't care. Not at this point.

Gears of War 3. I've had this game since it came out, but games are always more fun to play with people you know, especially if that person is a sibling (who you get along with). My brother recently bought the game as a download, since his "old" Xbox 360 is finally biting the dust on him and is having a hard time reading discs. And since we both have the game, we've been ripping up the horde as Cogs and annihilating the Cogs as members of the horde. We do take breaks occasionally, for him to play Madden 2013 and for me to play WoW.

And this is my downfall...

The new expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria, has combined a few things I love about gaming, including a few little obsessions of mine. Battle Pets (Pokemon much?), more profession leveling (I know I'm a weirdo) and oriental themes (every time I play this game, I want to watch "Spirited Away") and more achievements (Blizzard, challenge accepted).

I think I should go into more detail about each of these, but that is for several different blogs. But I wanted to make sure my readers know that I'm alive and well. I'm just visiting Sera and Azeroth on a nightly basis.

One more thing. Zomg! A lady toting around a white samurai sword and chopping zombie heads off, all while controlling zombie pets... well, at least for a bit! That's right, The Walking Dead's back, and more fun than ever (insert fan girl face here).

Alright, well, I leave you with that and I'll talk to you next time about something else. Oh, and FYI, if you guys have any questions about games, TV (not times, cause I'm not a TV Guide) or movies (not times, I'm not Movie Fone), let me know by leaving a message below or emailing me. Even if I don't know something, I probably know someone who will, and I'll share the info. ^_^
