MARINETTE - According to a press release from the Marinette Police Department we received today at 10:03 a.m., the police department is investigating two reports of suspicious men in the City of Marinette.

The first incident took place Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Carney Boulevard. A male knocked on a door and asked a young boy if his younger sister was home. The suspect asked for the girl by name. The suspect was 35 to 45 years old, with short brown hair and was wearing a blue shirt with a firefighter logo on it and blue jeans.

The second incident took place Thursday at about 5:23 p.m. in the 1500 block of Carney Boulevard. A male, wearing a white sleeveless shirt and blue jeans, with short brown hair, approximately late 20s to early 30s, was following a young boy. The boy began running and the suspect ran to a blue pickup and fled east on Carney Boulevard.

It is unknown at this time if the two incidents are related.
