Alice M. Rastall, 82, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Prairie Homes in Menasha, Wis. She was born October 8, 1931 in Marinette to William and Hertha (Priewe) Dumke.
Alice resided in Marinette most of her life and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1949. She married Roger L. Rastall on September 24, 1955. Earlier in her life, she had been employed by Scott Paper Co. and at the Sears store. For over 25 years she worked for the School District of Marinette until her retirement. Alice had also served as treasurer for the local branch of Aid Association for Lutherans and was active in fund raising. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Alice was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, arts and crafts and led a physically active lifestyle.
Alice is survived by two children: David (Karen) Rastall of DePere, Wis. and Regina (Bruce) Johnson of Neenah, Wis.; three grandchildren: Aaron (fiancé, Danielle Seidl), Carrie and Lauren; four brothers: William (Vicky) Lempke, George (Mary) Dumke, David Dumke and Roy (Holly) Dumke; two sisters: Mary Hovey and Karen (Rick) Kuran; and a brother-in-law, Ken Guillaume. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; and two sisters: Esther Dumke and Joan Guillaume.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home with the Rev. Jon Tesch and the Rev. Frederick Mueller officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
