Angeline M. Janik, 103, passed away January 30, 2014, at Bay Area Medical Center. Born March 30, 1910, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Gorka) Raczek.
She married Stanley Janik Thanksgiving Day, 1936, in Knowlton, Wis. The couple resided in Calumet City, Ill. and in 1958 they moved to Crivitz. Stanley preceded her in death on December 11, 1964 and in 1981, Angeline moved to Peshtigo where she remained a resident.
Angeline is survived by, a step-daughter, Helen Duquaine of Peshtigo; four grandchildren: Tim (Marcia), Michael, Steve (Karen) and Marilyn; five great-grandchildren: Bob (Vanessa), Matt (Lori), Stephanie, Alex and Jordan; four great-great-grandchildren: Natalie, Ivianna, Corinne and Elizabeth. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Angeline was preceded in death by six brothers: Mike, John, Stanley, Joe, Walter and Peter and three sisters: Ann, Marie and Kay.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father Richard Allen officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Crivitz.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unity Hospice or a charity of your choice.
