Elaine Gould Gotchy, 79, of Verona, Wis., formerly of Rhinelander, passed away at her home, in the presence of her loving family, on May 24, 2014. She was born on May 2, 1935, in Marinette, Wis. to the late Lawrence and Josephine (Gremban) Gould.
    Elaine graduated from Marinette High School and then Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, now Rush University, in Chicago, Ill. She also received a BSN from Milton College and was employed and retired after more than 30 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander.
    Elaine is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Tom) Anklam of Dublin, Calif.; her son, Kurt (Kathy Kopp) of Rhinelander, Wis.; her son, Brian (Susan) of Verona, Wis.; her grandchildren: Alex and Hayley Anklam and Jerrod and Jaclyn Gotchy; her brother, Westley (Bonnie) Gould; and sisters: Carol Jean Fizzard, Sharon Horine, and Margie (Richard) Boucher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and her brother Dennis.
    At her request, no service will be held. Elaine’s final resting place will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Hazelhurst, where her late husband is buried.
    Memorials to the Rhinelander Food Pantry would be appreciated.
