Gary L. Marineau, 71, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, at home. He was born May 29, 1942, to the late Howard and Frances (Bashford) Marineau in Marinette. 
Gary was a 1961 Graduate of Catholic Central High School. Gary married his high school sweetheart, Antonette "Toni" VanVooren on January 25th, 1964, at St. Mary Church in Peshtigo. He worked at Marinette Marine and then Scott Paper/Kimberly Clark for 37 years until retiring as a millwright in 2003. Gary was an avid hunter, and fishermen; he also enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Silver Cliff. The time Gary enjoyed the most was the time spent with his grandchildren. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Great Lakes Sport Fishermen Club, Northland Beagle Club in Iron Mountain and Northeaster Wisconsin Beagle Club in Suamico.
 Gary is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Toni; son, Jeff (Sara) Marineau of Green Bay; daughter, Laurie (Mark) Bernsdorf of Kewaunee; two sisters: MaryAnn (Phil) Karlin and Beverly (Harry) Koushayan, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren: twins, Cody and Brandon Radke, Kelsey, Allie and Coby Marineau and two step-grandchildren: Alexa and Austin Bernsdorf. He is further survived by six sister-in-laws; four brother-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and special companion, his dog, Molly and all of his beagles. He was preceded in death by his parents.
 Friends may call at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18th, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Taylor St., with Reverend Joseph Dorner officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
