Gerald A. Berg, 74, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at home. Gerry was born on February 25, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wis. to the late Arnold and Violet (Bartels) Berg.  
  Gerry proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He worked as a farmer and as a journeymen pipefitter at Marinette Marine. Gerry enjoyed gardening, cooking and sharing his produce, going to the Senior Center and playing cards with his friends.  Spending time with his family especially his grandchildren is what Gerry enjoyed most.
  Survivors include his children: Michael (Terri) of Daggett, Mich., Brian (Dawn) of Shawano, Wis. and Heather (Jamie Quistorf) Berg of Crivitz, Wis.; special friend, Arlyss Bero; nine grandchildren: Becca, Erin, Collin, Matthew, Emily, Austin, Jasmine, Bella and Lexi; two sisters: Elinore (Evert) Wayrynen of Stephenson, Mich. and Linda (Peter) Luton-Berg of Bellevue, Wash.; and brother, William Berg of Menominee, Mich. Gerald was preceded in death by his son, Steven.
  Family will receive friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home, 533 10th Avenue, Menominee, Mich. on Friday, June 20, 2014 after 11 a.m. until time of Military Rites at 1 p.m. followed by Funeral Service with Pastor David Buckley officiating.  
   Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
