Glenn E. Sieth, 84, of Appleton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday evening, January 31, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born August 9, 1929 in Menominee, Mich. to Frederick and Anita (nee Berg) Sieth.
Glenn spent his early life in Menominee where he completed his local education before attending Augsburg College. He entered military service in 1951, serving duty assignments in the United States Army during the Korean War era.  He later moved to Appleton where he worked as a designer/consultant in the building trades industry.
Glenn is survived by his former wife, Patricia (nee Weiler) Sieth of Appleton; four children; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; son, Steve Sieth of Kaukauna and his children: Renee Sieth and Katie (Mike) Schomer and their son, Leo; daughter, Sheri Sieth of Appleton and her special canine pal, Bailey; daughter, Marcia (Mark) Getschow of Menasha and her children: Tara O'Donnell and son, Zac, and Sadie O'Donnell and her children: Austin and Kirra (little pooper), Derek (Katheryne) Getschow and son, Miles, and Kyle Getschow; and daughter, Kim (Kory) Davis of Menasha and their children: Chandra (Matt) Kluck and children, Adam and Gracie, and Alicia (Jason) Honick and children: Alexa, Aubree, Calli and Neveah. Glenn is further survived by a sister-in-law, Carol Sieth of Menominee, Mich., her children: Ellen and Terri and their families; and extended family members, Jay Sawyer and Becky Sawyer Houpe. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frederick and Anita Sieth; his step-mother, Bunedithe Sieth; and a brother, Wayne Sieth.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Chaplain Darrel Diers of St. James Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
