Harriet A. Tebo, 84, of Stephenson, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Harriet Arlene Leaveck was born August 11, 1929, in Stephenson to the late James and Virginia (Bayee) Leaveck.
Harriet married Robert Tebo and he preceded her in death. Harriet was a devoted mother and homemaker. She owned and operated a wallpaper and painting business. She also did many other things in her life and did them very well. Harriet loved quilting, gardening, and cooking, but her real passion was saved for her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, and the Mid County VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie Johnson of Menominee, Mich.; three sons: Jeron (Sharon), Robin (Cathy), Jerry, all of Stephenson, Mich., seven grandchildren: Jeron (Nikki) Tebo, Kim (Jeff) Jablonski, Shawn (Joe) Kipp, Ashley (Nick) Swartz, Gina (Scott) Hummel, Andrew (Ricki Jo) Heimbuch, Kerri Johnson, 18 great-grandchildren, three sisters: Joan Swille, Fran Harris, Sally Rivard; and two brothers: Joe and James Leaveck. Harriet was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. until a VFW Auxiliary service at 11:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at Noon at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stephenson. Officiating will be Reverend David Christenson.
Burial will take place in Bethesda Cemetery in Daggett, Mich.
