Jean Marie Casselbury, 46, of Menominee, Mich., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at BAMC in Marinette, Wis. She was born on December 27, 1966, in Libertyville, Ill. to the late Thomas Populorum, Sr. and Barbara (Karse) Populorum. Jean graduated from Menominee High School class of 1985.
She married John Casselbury on May 2, 1987, at Resurrection Parish in Menominee. Jean worked in the produce department at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Along with her mother Barbara, Jean is survived by her husband, John; one daughter, Kimberly (Zack Milan) Casselbury, both of Menominee, Mich. one son, Andrew (Kari) Casselbury of Marinette, Wis. her granddaughter Trinity; two brothers: Robert (Carla) Williams and Richard Williams; many other family members and friends and her canine buddies "CJ" and "Sammie". In addition to her father, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Populorum, Jr. and her mother-in-law, Nancy Casselbury.
Funeral services for Jean will be held at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of prayers at 7 p.m. Deacon Vincent Beckley will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, Mich.
A memorial fund has been established in Jean's name. Any expressions of sympathy and kindness can be directed to a family member.
