June Yvonne Lepianka, 75, Pound, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Lutheran Home, Marinette. She was born June 3, 1938, in Kenosha to the late Mike and Barbara Wlahovich.
On March 11, 1961 June married Joseph Lepianka in Milwaukee. In 1964 they moved to the Pound area and have resided there ever since. Her love of music was present throughout her life. She was a member of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra for over three decades, playing the violin. After moving to Pound, she spent her entire life until retirement as the music teacher at Coleman Elementary School. She enjoyed her yard, flowers and took great pride in her landscaping and gardens. June's greatest joy was her family and the days spent with her grandchildren. She instilled in them many lasting skills and memories including piano and violin lessons, cooking and sewing. Her family meant everything to her and her door was always open for visitors. In her later years, when her health started slipping, she had her loving husband to look after her. Theirs was a marriage of inspiration for all who knew them. If love could build a stairway, she'd be only a climb away!
