Kim "Congo" Armbruster, 58, of Porterfield, passed through the gates of death into eternal glory on Saturday, March 29, 2014.
Kim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just watching the animals. He enjoyed it so much; he always had to hurry home, just to watch the sun set through the patio windows.
Kim was born on March 16, 1956, to Betty and Floyd Armbruster in Menominee.
Kim is survived by his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" and his "Pops", Paul Korn of Wallace. He is further survived by two sons: Jarrod Clifford Armbruster and his loving son and caregiver, Matthew Jacob (Tabitha) Armbruster; and of course the joy of his life, granddaughter, Nova Lee Armbruster; one brother, Richard (Nora) Rohrer of Milwaukee; his sister, friend, confidant, Debra (Stuart) Lyonsdove; and special nephew, Malachi, all of Milwaukee. Kim is also survived by his special friend and companion, Mia. Kim is further survived by his ex-wife, Ruth Armbruster, aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends, and extended family far too numerous to mention. He was loved by many and returned the love of each and every one of them. Kim was preceded in death by his loving son, Adam; his father, Floyd Armbruster; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, April 4th from 4 to 6 p.m. A service of Christian Burial will take place at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mary Miron presiding and assisted by Deacon Jackie Everson.
