Warren Clayton Manske of Menominee, Mich., passed away on June 30, 2014, after a full life of 89 years. He was born May 30, 1925, in Marinette, Wis. to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Raue) Manske. 
  Warren graduated from Marinette High School Class of 1943 and he served his country in the United States Navy during World War II for four years as an electronic technician. After he was honorably discharged Warren returned home then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. for two years and went on to attend Milwaukee School of Engineering where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1950. Warren went to Poughkeepske, New York where he was trained to work with IBM where he was employed for two years. He also worked for AC Spark Plug in Milwaukee for four years and this is where he met his wife, Lois Joan England. They were married in Marinette on August 9, 1952. Soon after, they returned to Menominee where Warren got a job with Prescott then worked for Bay Electric which later became Bay Precision where he served as vice-president. Warren was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Club; he enjoyed golfing and for many years golfed at North Shore Golf Club. Warren was a past president of the Golden K and an avid bowler. One of his hobbies was being a carpenter doing building and remodeling projects which he enjoyed greatly. He built his house that he and his wife Lois lived in also built an addition to their cottage on the Bay of Green Bay. Warren and Lois loved to travel together. They have been on many trips and cruises including places like Canada, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, England, Austria, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Dominican Republic, Panama, and the Caribbean and throughout the United States. Warren also liked to collect coins, stamps and enjoyed volunteering at church for various projects and activities.
  Warren is survived by his wife, Lois of 62 years; their children: Lynn Manske and Wendy (Tom) Greenwood; two grandchildren: Nathan and Kara Greenwood, all of Green Bay, Wis.; and his dog “Chum” Buffy. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Helen; two brother-in-laws: Milton (Beverly) Salewsky and Kenneth England; also his mother-in-law, Clara England.
  Services for Warren will be Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (2901 13th Street Menominee, Mich. 49858) at 3 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until time of service at 3 p.m. Pastor Rick DeBenedetto will be officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the Military 20 year club.
  Entombment will be at Forest Home Mausoleum.
 Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
  Warren’s family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Menominee Police Department, Paramedics, Bay Area Medical Center ER staff and Chaplin, and the Chaplin, also the many friends and neighbors who came to the house to offer assistance.
 In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established. Please make memorial contributions payable to one of the family members.
