Commissioners adopted a County
Parks Use Ordinance to establish
rules and regulations, to enumerate
certain violations, and to establish
civil infractions and other penalties
for certain violations to ensure a sage
and enjoyable environment in the
county parks maintained by
Menominee County.
The County Parks Use Ordinance
is effective upon publication of this
Notice of Adoption of Ordinance.

TEMPORARY WEIGHT
RESTRICTIONS
Effective Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at
8:00 a.m., temporary weight restrictions will be imposed and enforced on
all roads in Menominee County – until
further notice (except those designated as all seasons).
During the weight restriction period,
trucks traveling on posted/restricted
roads must reduce speeds to 35
mph and carry lighter loads – a 25%
reduction on concrete roads and 35%
reduction on asphalt or gravel roads.

PROJECT FUNDING
This project is funded in part by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development - Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The attention of

to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section
3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. The contract
is subject to Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates.

tree maintenance and silviculture
