Meghan Finger, Peshtigo, is a recipient of a University Leadership Award from the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay. Nominated by one of her professors, Finger was selected as a recipient based on her demonstrated leadership through academic success.

Finger graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication with emphases in public relations and health communication along with a minor in Spanish.

Through the communication department at UW-Green Bay, Finger has served as vice president of public relations for the UWGB chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America and was a committed planner of the UWGB Communication Week team. Finger held an internship in the Office of School & Community Relations for the Green Bay Area Public School District for the entirety of her senior year.

Finger began her college career at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, in the fall of 2018 where she completed her general education studies. She completed her degree in three years. She is the daughter of Karen and Mike Finger. She graduated from Peshtigo High School in 2018.

A drive-through commencement ceremony was held May 15 at the UW-Green Bay campus.
