The Menominee-Delta-Schoolcraft Community Action Agency Emergency Food Assistance Program (quarterly distribution) has been scheduled for September.
The program is for residents, 18 years of age and older, who qualify with household income of one person for $2,147 a month; two people, $2,903 a month; three people, $3,660 a month, etc. People who are unsure if they qualify may call the senior center.
Residents do not have to preregister but must self-declare their income at the time of receiving commodities. Escanaba participants are encourage to call the senior center to obtain a card in advance. This will help the line move more quickly. All food items are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All sites will be curbside pick up, so people picking up food should remain in their vehicle.
