MENOMINEE — The Salvation Army will host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry Thursday at 10 a.m.
A Mobile Food Pantry contains 15,000 pounds of food sent on a truck in order to provide food for 300 families in need, on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Mobile Pantry will be located in Menominee at the Spies Public Library, 940 1st St. It will continue as a drive-through process.
Captain Rhegan Stansbury said, “We have been so pleased with the support of the community for the Feeding America Mobile Pantry, both in volunteers and sponsors. We are still looking for sponsors for next year 2022! We want to be able to continue to bring the truck in as a valuable resource for the community.”
To sponsor a truck or volunteer, people may call the main office for more information at 715-735-7448. The Salvation Army and Feeding America are equal opportunity providers.
