There have been great additions to the group camp area at Horseshoe Falls Equestrian Camp and Trail system in Dunbar — courtesy of a grant from the Wisconsin Horse Council. There are now new picnic tables, fire rings and highlines. The Clip Clop Trail Riders club spent many hours of volunteer time to do this work. Above, from left, Lee Goodwin, Janet Bird and Rob Wenzel install posts for a highline from which horses can be tied. The picture was taken in August at the Horseshoe Falls Horsecamp. At the Middle Inlet Horse camp, a new manure bunker was installed and an equine obstacle course was added. This work was also enabled from a separate grant from the Wisconsin Horse Council. The Clip Clop Trail Riders club have worked closely with Marinette County Forestry and Park as both camps and trail systems are in Marinette County and offer many miles of horseback trail riding.
