Beverly E. Boerschinger, 92, of Marinette, Wis., passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2020. She was born Sept. 27, 1927, to the late Howard Belonga and Edna (Hurkman) Belonga in Tomahawk, Wis.
Beverly moved to Marinette as a child with her family, and she graduated from Marinette High School in 1945. She worked at Woolworth’s, Lauerman’s and Marinette Knitting Mills in Marinette, and at the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital in later years. On May 29, 1948, Beverly married Donald Boerschinger at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. They were married for almost 66 years.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jeff) Mrazek of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons: Jeffrey of Crivitz, Wis., and Donald of Marinette; her brother, Don (Carol) Belonga; a sister, Brenda (Mike) Massio; sisters-in-law: Delores “Dolly” Boerschinger and Yvonne Belonga; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald; three brothers: Robert “Bobby”, Clifford “Eugene” and Richard Belonga; and two sisters: Carol Brukardt and Lois Galarneau.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the pandemic.
