Deloyd J. Lindstrom

Deloyd J. Lindstrom, 99, Menominee, formerly of Daggett, passed away peacefully at The Harbors Assisted Living in Menominee, Mich. on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Deloyd was born February 16, 1922 in Marinette, Wis., to the late John and Esther (Swanson) Lindstrom. Deloyd proudly served his Country in the United States Army Air Corp. from October 8, 1942 until being honorably discharged on November 26, 1945. On June 29, 1946, Deloyd married Ella Mae Rabitoy in Daggett, Mich. Ella preceded him in death on October 2, 2010. Deloyd worked for Schlitz Brewery as a supervisor retiring after 33 years in March of 1981. Deloyd was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and Mid County VFW Post 5966.He also volunteered for 22 years with the St. Frances Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Deloyd is survived by his son: Daniel (Erika) Lindstrom of Waukesha, Wis. 2 grandsons: Adam (Angela) Lindstrom and Paul (Rebecca) Lindstrom and 5 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by 1 sister, Carol Lyberg of Rodgers City, Mich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae, daughter, Jean Anderson, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Private family services will be held with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
