John Frederick Kuhlmann, 52, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at his home. John was born on Oct. 16, 1968, in Sheboygan, Wis., to the late Orville and Mary Jean (Schmidt) Kuhlmann.
John graduated from Sheboygan South High School Class of 1986. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree and would later receive two master’s degrees in history and library science. John was employed as the librarian at UWGB-Marinette Campus. John enjoyed socializing with his friends, camping, hiking, fishing and cooking on the grill. Most of all, John loved spending time with his family and especially loved his nieces, nephew and great-niece.
Survivors include his brother, Mike (Diane) Kuhlmann; two nieces: Jacqueline N. Morales and Kelly Kuhlmann; nephew, Ryan Kuhlmann; and great-niece, Jadyn Woodward all of Bloomingdale, Ill.
Due to the COVID restrictions, a private visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home, Menominee. John will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan, Wis.
