Bernice M. Harper, 92, of Peshtigo, Wis., passed away July 14, 2020, at Rennes Health Center West. Born Nov. 17, 1927, in the Town of Grover, daughter of the late Otto and Leona (Lemke) Bauman, she married Grant Wallace Harper.
A member of the Zion Lutheran Church, she played the organ there and also for St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grover for many years. After 45 years of working at Badger Paper Mill as a credit manager/bookkeeper, she retired and enjoyed traveling, especially her trip to Europe and the Holy Land.
Bernice is survived by a brother, Earl Bauman of Oconto; nieces and nephews: Brian Bauman, Linda Marvel, Peggy Schottz, and Bill, Paul, and Scott Exworthy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grant; a brother, Roy Bauman; two sisters-in-law: Sharon and Audrey; and a niece, Laura.
Bernice’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 21, at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 10 a.m., until time of memorial services at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
