Elaine Marie Klatt, 77, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at her home. The former Elaine Marie Lentz was born on April 18, 1943, in Menominee to the late Walter and LaVerne (Kuick) Lentz.
On April 22, 1961, Elaine married Norbert Klatt in Menominee. Elaine was a homemaker and also enjoyed working at Simply Charming. She enjoyed crocheting, making jam and was an excellent baker. Elaine further enjoyed flowers, going to camp, was an avid reader and loved her dog, Max. She was a giver and was always willing to help anyone. Her passion was her family and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Norbert of Menominee; four children: Tammy (Timothy) Clark of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., Kristine (Patrick) Bouche of Green Bay, Wis., Tina (Dave) Ellis of Menominee and Greg (Wendy) Klatt of Menominee; seven grandchildren: Tiffany, Ryan, Erin, Kaitlin, Andrew, Derek and Dillon; 10 great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Hunter, Hayden, Kami, Noah, Ella, Eva, Eli, Noah and Chancelor; one sister, Carol (Daniel) Swanson of Stoneville, N.C.; and a brother, John (Linda) Lentz of Marinette, Wis. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and LaVerne; and beloved grandson, Daniel Ellis.
Family will receive friends at Cadieu Funeral Home on Saturday July 11, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
