Linda Lee Anderson, 75, Menominee, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at her home. The former Linda Lee Roach was born on Jan. 29, 1945, in New Haven, W.V., to the late William and Grace (Roush) Roach. On August 23, 1965, Linda married Arthur Anderson Jr. at Bethel Baptist Church in Marinette, Wis.
Linda worked as a teacher’s aide for special education for Marinette Public Schools for 28 years. She enjoyed playing Sudoku, board games and loved nature. She was a longtime member of Grace Community Church (formerly Bethel Baptist Church) where she served in many capacities such as Sunday School teacher, Bible School teacher, Junior church teacher and ran Wednesday night clubs. Linda loved having family over for the holidays.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years: Art of Menominee; four children: Ben Anderson of Austin, Texas; Eric Anderson of Wausaukee, Wis.; Katie (Garret) Gazlay of Marquette, Mich.; and Timothy Anderson of Menominee; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister: Sharon Hoefgen of Menominee; and 2 brothers: Charles (Sue) Roach of Milwaukee and Mike (Kate) Roach of Menominee; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Don (Gayle) Roach and brother-in-law: Don Hoefgen.
A memorial service for Linda will be held at a later date. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
