Class of 1970 holds reunion

The Menominee High School Class of 1970 came together for its 50-year reunion. It was held at the Best Western, Marinette, Sept. 25, after being postponed a year because of COVID-19. The theme was 50+1 and the event was a success. The 117 attendees including 65 classmates enjoyed great conversations, a sit-down dinner, and special music by classmate Jim Weissgerber and Art Landerman along with Art’s wife Lauren. Following this special entertainment, The Goodfellas, provided great music the rest of the evening. Prior to the reunion, a number of classmates were impressed on the private tour of the “new” high school they attended their senior year, a Maroon football game on Friday, and a historical city tour lead by Mike Kaufman.
