TOWNSEND — The Red Arrow Snowmobile/ATV Club of Townsend, Wis. will hold their 45th annual Fish A Ree at the Townsend Town Hall Building on Saturday, Feb. 15.
Pre-registration for the fishing contest is offered all day on Friday, Feb. 14 until noon on Saturday at Pintsch’s Hardware in Townsend and Mighty Fine Live Bait in Lakewood, Wis. Registration is also being held the day of the event at Town Hall, and the fee is $10.
Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish by weight in the walleye, northern, bass and panfish categories. First place will take home $50, and second and third place will be put into a special drawing for the end of the night. A complete list of rules will be available once registered.
The day’s activities begin at 11 a.m. inside Town Hall and includes meat raffles, big ticket raffles, hot food, beverages and music. Fishing contest prizes will be drawn at 5:30 p.m., and the big ticket raffle winners will be drawn at 7. Raffle prizes include a snap-on tool set, a $500 Shell gas card, snowmobile clothing and numerous gift certificates to local businesses.
