MENOMINEE — Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties will hold its annual community drive-through flu shot clinic today. The clinic will be held in the Spies Field parking lot behind The Store in Menominee, from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost for the flu shot is $30. Also available this year is a high-dose flu vaccine for $50. Medicare, Medicaid, Healthy Michigan and most private insurance can be billed.
Public Health continues to recognize the need to offer a drive-through service to those who have difficulty walking. Limited mobility is not a requirement to attend the drive-thru clinic, and all individuals are welcome to attend. No appointments are necessary, and people are asked to come during the designated time period according to the first letter of their last name: A-D: 2 to 3; E-K: 3 to 4; L-Q: 4 to 5; and R-Z: 5 to 6.
Anyone unable to attend the clinic according to the schedule may come anytime between 2 and 6.
Because of COVID-19, people are asked to wear a facemask if they are medically able.
For the safety of Public Health staff, participants are asked to please leave their pets at home.
