ESCANABA—More than 300 students descended upon Bay College in Escanaba on Jan. 7 to demonstrate management, marketing and technology skills at the Business Professionals of America regional conference. Student members of the Stephenson High School Chapter of BPA showed their skills and brought home the gold for their efforts. As a result of their success, 23 Stephenson students qualified to represent their school at the state level competitions in March.
Capturing 1st place awards were: Computer Animation Team members Buckley Corey, Gavin Corey, Ethan Oczus, Donald Strazzinski; Parliamentary Procedures Team members Joelle Beaudo, Alyssa Verba, Morgan Bergquist, Griffin Brown, Allie Cappaert; Alyssa Verba in Digital Marketing Concepts; Allie Cappaert in Parliamentary Procedures Concepts; Lilly Grinsteiner in Graphic Design Promotion; Lileana Thoune in Administrative Support Research Individual; and Lilyan Wagner in Basic Office Systems and Procedures.
