COVID-19 has created its fair share of issues for seniors like me. Fortunately, vaccines are being administered, providing hope that COVID-19 could be behind us soon.
The last year has been stressful for many seniors, but one thing I didn’t have to worry about was my health coverage.
That’s because I’m fortunate to have Medicare Advantage, a health care plan that’s long been committed to providing seniors with quality care at an affordable price. The program provides prescription drug, vision and dental coverage, all under one health care plan. And because of its strong focus on preventative care, Medicare Advantage encourages seniors to stay healthy for the long run.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Medicare Advantage plans stepped up by offering telehealth services, along with prescription drug delivery and virtual fitness classes, so seniors could continue to take care of their health while confined at home. And the best part is there’s no cost to receive the vaccine.
I’ve long been a fan of Medicare Advantage because it’s taken care of my health. I ask Wisconsin’s Congressional delegation to support this program which has stood behind me for the last 10 years.
