Flag presentation1st Lt. Kyle Myszka (left), a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, presents a flag to Marinette County Board chairman John Guarisco Tuesday at the county board meeting. Myszka recently returned from an 11-month deployment in the Middle East. The flag presented to the board was flown in December 2020 at Camp Moreell, Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, during Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in honor of Marinette County. The Marinette-Menominee area got its first taste of snow on Monday, the first offcial day of winter. Cars are shown driving at the foot of the Interstate Bridge from Menominee. There was less than an inch of snow and much of it had melted by lunch time.
