Prison ordered for battery, threat

MARINETTE—A Green Bay man will serve time in prison for battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer.

Bryant K. Lewis Jr., 30, was sentenced to two years in prison in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 1. The sentence is followed by two years extended supervision.

Lewis also was sentenced to one year in prison for resisting or obstructing an officer. The sentence will run concurrent to the first charge. He also was sentenced to six months extended supervision, to run concurrent to the first charge.

A charge of disorderly conduct and a second charge of resisting or obstructing an officer were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.

The crimes happened on May 24, 2020. Lewis entered no contest pleas on Dec. 10.
