Niagara man sentenced for sexual assault
MARINETTE—A 38-year-old Niagara man was sentenced to five years in prison for third-degree sexual assault.
Jason M. Helker was sentenced in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 2. The sentence is followed by five years extended supervision.
A felony charges of burglary to a dwelling or a boat with person present was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
The offense happened Nov. 9, 2019, and Helker entered a no contest plea on Nov. 24, 2020.
