US 41 partially closed after crash

MENOMINEE—The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a report of a rollover crash on U.S. 41, south of Birch Creek Road in Menominee Township, Friday.

Deputies arrived on scene to a three-vehicle traffic crash involving a semi-truck, a pickup truck and a passenger car. Two people were extricated from their vehicles. All parties involved were transported to Aurora Medical Center—Bay Area, in Marinette to be treated for their injuries. One person was later air lifted to Green Bay.

The crash is still under investigation.

U.S. 41, from Birch Creek Road to No. 7 Road was closed for approximately 6.5 hours following the crash.

Assisting the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office were the Menominee City Police Department, Menominee-Ingallston Fire Department, Menominee City Fire Department, Aurora Medical Center—Bay Area Paramedics and EMS, Menominee County Special Deputies and Menominee County Central Dispatch.
