STURGEON BAY, Wis.—Adam Bauman and Jordan Carvenough each shot low-round scores of 37 to help the Peshtigo boys golf pick up a Packerland Conference victory at Idlewild Golf Course on Thursday.
The Bulldogs had four scores under-40, with Grant Bauman and Christian Boyle each shooting a 39. Carson Collins score of 47 gave Peshtigo a team-score of 152, good for first place.
“I believe our team score of 152 was Peshtigo’s lowest in several years. It was great to see four scores in the thirties for Peshtigo,” Bulldogs coach Jim Dufrane said. “In addition to the very consistent scoring, both Jordan and Christian made an eagle during their rounds. We are feeling very good heading into the Packerland Conference Championship.”
Oconto finished second with a combined score of 177, with host-school Southern Door in third (193) and Sturgeon Bay (200) in fourth.
The Bulldogs travel to Wander Springs Golf Course in Greenleaf, Wis. on Thursday for the Packerland Conference Championship meet. Tee-time is 12:30 p.m.
