GREEN BAY—The Coleman wrestling team went 3-0 at its most recent quadrangular meet in Bay Port, defeating Oconomowoc, Bay Port and De Pere with very little resistance.

In the first round, the Cougars wiped out Oconomowoc 67-12 with pins from Ray LeMieux (113), Chance Gruber (132), Will Bieber (138), Karson Casper (145), Owen Kinziger (152), Cole Klimek (182), Brody Zahn (220) and Spencer Karban (heavyweight). Cameron Kimmell (106) won by forfeit while Peter Kuchta (160) and Brady Gross (126) won by decisions. Coleman won the match 67-12.

Against Bay Port in round two, Coleman again did not have much trouble as Gruber, Bieber, Kinziger, Kuchta and Kimmell won by pin fall. LeMieux, Karban and John Nowak (120) won by decisions while Kasper and Tyler Blanchard (170) won by forfeit to help their team to a 52-16 victory.

Finally, Coleman went up against De Pere and Gross started things off with a pin in 33 seconds to set the tone. Casper, Kinziger, Coby DenRuyter (195), Zahn, Karban, Kimmell and LeMieux all followed suit with pins of their own. Gruber, Bieber and Kuchta all won by forfeit while Klimek won by decision.

Coleman will now be back on the mats on Thursday when the Cougars travel to Freedom for a dual.
