Crivitz girls take down Lena
LENA—The Crivitz girls basketball team got back above .500 on Monday night with a 59-50 victory over Lena to improve to 6-5 overall and 4-3 in the Marinette & Oconto Conference.
McKenna Sellen scored 14 of her team-high 17 points in the first half to help her the Wolverines out to a 36-30 halftime advantage and Kate Richlen helped put it away in the second with seven of her 15 including two triples. Crivitz’s Riley Mueller also scored in double digits with 10.
For Lena (4-10, 2-7 M&O), Natalie McNurlen had 14 of her 16 in the first half while Chaela Rabas tossed in 10 of her team-high 17 in the second. Kennedy Marquardt added 11 and Alissa Wenzel had six.
Lena now travels to Wausaukee on Friday hosts Oneida Nation the same night.
