The Bantam team handled Manitowoc in the lone home contests on Saturday. The Thunder won game one by a final score of 10-8 while game two was an unofficial contest. In the opener, Brayden Rounds netted three of the team’s six second period goals that put the Thunder up 7-6. Rounds added a fourth goal in the third period, while Blue Haley posted a hat-trick, Mason Kordic netted a pair and Luke Skala scored once. Damien Winterbottom, Rounds and Kordic each had an assist while Haley notched a pair of helpers.

The PeeWee’s won a pair at Manitowoc, winning with scores of 6-4 and 6-2. In the first game, Courtney Campbell netted a pair of goals after her younger brother Collin got the scoring started. Dixon Polzin, Wyatt Denny and Chase Nerat also scored in the opener. In game-two, Denny scored a pair in the second period, and goals from Polzin and Connor Radtke sent the Thunder to the final period up 4-1. Courtney Campbell put the game well out of reach with two more goals in the third period.

Meanwhile, the Squirt team dropped a pair of games in Escanaba, and the Girls 12U team fell by scores of 9-0 and 2-1 at Green Bay. Katie Olson totaled 46 saves in the two contests, while Natalie Haile scored the lone Thunder goal.
