Maroons coast past Bark River-Harris

BARK RIVER—A huge second quarter propelled the Menominee girls basketball team to a 67-42 victory over Bark River-Harris on Tuesday night.

The Maroons led just 12-4 after the first but exploded for a 28-point second and allowed just 10 to hold a 40-14 lead at the break.

Menominee was able to coast in the second half as BR-H outscored the Maroons 28-27.

Emma Anderson led all scorers with 16 points and Josie Hofer and Kennedy Olson added 12 each.

Menominee (3-0 overall, 2-0 GNC) will now prepare to host Escanaba in a Great Northern Conference matchup on Tuesday.
