The Menominee girls basketball team reclaimed its top spot in the Upper Peninsula Sportwriters & Sportscasters final U.P. poll thanks to the Marquette girls upsetting Sault Ste. Marie last week.

Menominee (11-0) received all five first-place votes as SSM (12-1) fell to second in the poll. Calumet (15-0) remains in the third position.

On the boys side in Division 1-3, Iron Mountain (13-0) received all five first-place votes after the Menominee boys handed Escanaba its second loss of the season to drop to 13-2.
