GREEN BAY—The Peshtigo boys golf team picked up another Packerland Conference victory at The Woods Golf Course on Thursday.

N.E.W. hosted the match but enjoyed no home field advantage as the Bulldogs racked up four of five of the day’s best scores to win the match with a team score of 170. Oconto shot a 191 to finish second.

Seniors Adam Bauman and Jordan Carvenough tied for medalist honors after both shooting 39 on the day. Grant Bauman captured individual third place with a score of 42.

Junior Christian Boyle finished with a 50 while senior Carson Collins carded a 53 to round things out for Peshtigo.

“I think our team is starting to settle into the season. Jordan and Adam will be consistent performers for us and we are happy to see that Grant is starting to feel more and more comfortable in conference play,” Peshtigo head coach Jim Dufrane said. “Carson and Christian round out our five varsity players and they continue to push one another, which should help to drive that very needed fourth varsity score. That will be important to us as we progress through the season.”

Peshtigo heads to Little River Golf Course in Marinette on Tuesday. Tee time is noon.
