Wolverines handle Hawks

CRIVITZ—The Crivitz volleyball team picked up a 4-1 victory over Suring on Tuesday.

Crivitz won the first game 25-22 but Suring flipped the script in game two and won 25-22. The Wolverines edged the Eagles 25-23 in game three before taking the fourth game 25-22.

Crivitz’s Hailee Gyger tallied 19 assists and two aces, while Kyle Chilcote recorded 13 kills, two assists and a block.

Suring’s Mate Mahoney racked up 16 assists to go with two digs and two kills, with Emma Kristoff adding two aces and six digs.

Crivitz is off until Thursday when it host a triangular match at 4:30 p.m.

Suring was in Lena on Thursday with results unavailable at press time. Next up for the Eagles is a home triangular match on Sept. 9 at 4:30 p.m.
